Andrianna a one-month old female Mediterranean monk seal is seen at the Attica Zoological Park in Spata, eastern Athens, on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014. The orphaned seal, was found four weeks ago by local residents on the Aegean Island of Skopelos, central Greece and its veterinary condition was critical. The pup is currently in an intensive treatment program at MOmís Mediterranean monk seal First Aid Unit, which has been provided by Attica Zoological Park. Around 350 Mediterranean monk seals, Monachus-Monachus, rare species of mammals, live in Greece according MOm, Greek Society For The Study and Protection of The Mediterranean Monk Seal.
