Photographers Vadim Ghirda and Evgeniy Maloletka have been covering the unrest in Ukraine this week for The Associated Press.
Ghirda joined the Associated Press in 1990 and his major assignments include social and political turmoil in Romaina following the fall of communism in 1989, the conflict in Yugoslavia that led to the break up of the federation, including the 1999 bombing of Serbia, the Israel-Palestinian Conflict of 2001-2004, Crimea, Iraq, and the Olympics in both London 2012 and Sochi 2014.
Maloletka has covered assignments for the Associated Press for the past year in the Ukraine, including the Ukrainian election and daily life.
