The burned station wagon of three missing civil rights workers was located on June 24, 1964 in a swampy area near Philadelphia, Miss. Only a shell remained. The tires, windows, interior and exterior were completely burned. Two white men and an African American civil rights worker were arrested in the station wagon on Sunday.
